Risk for Purpose

I spent many years on the receiving end of recommendations and advice from “consultants” half my age with little experience to show for it. The advice I received was generally cookie-cutter and sought to justify its existence by drowning risk frameworks in noise. This approach simply diverted attention away from the risks that required focus and made for a regular cycle of educating the next batch of consultants.

Risk for Purpose is deliberate in the intent to support clients to build risk frameworks that are ‘fit-for-purpose’ and ‘with purpose’. This often means less complexity and less “findings/recommendations” - but it’s genuine, it’s effective, and it’s the right thing to do!

Risk for Purpose is also deliberate in the intent to ensure that an organisation’s risk position is ‘on purpose’. This means ensuring your material risk position is an accurate representation of the underlying enterprise risk assessment, and ensuring your organisation is taking the right amount of risk and managing to the required levels.

Risk for Purpose is here to help your business build organisational resilience with a rock-solid enterprise-wide risk management framework at its heart.
